We're making ReadyTools Workspace smarter, more personal, and easier to use. This update introduces Today, a new way to focus on what matters, alongside personal Block Templates, performance improvements, and additional refinements across Workspace.

Introducing Today — Focus on What Matters Right Now

Your Workspace might contain dozens of pages, projects, boards, and tasks. But sometimes, all you really need to know is one thing:

What do I need to get done today?

That's where Today comes in.

The new /today block brings a focused overview of your daily work directly into Workspace.

Instead of manually opening different pages and checking everything individually, Today helps bring your relevant tasks and daily priorities into one place.

It's designed to make your Workspace feel less like a collection of information and more like a place where you can actually get things done.

A Simpler Way to Start Your Day

Getting started is easy.

Open a Workspace page, type /today, and add the Today block wherever you want.

You can place it on your main dashboard, inside a personal planning page, or alongside other Workspace blocks.

The idea is simple: create a dedicated space for the things that need your attention today.

Whether you're managing personal tasks, studying, or working on multiple projects, Today helps you focus on your immediate priorities without unnecessary distractions.

Today Is Also Part of Tasks

The Today experience isn't limited to Workspace pages.

We've also brought Today into the Tasks page, making it easier to access your daily priorities from a dedicated task-management area.

This means you can choose how you want to work.

Prefer a personalized Workspace dashboard? Add the Today block.

Prefer opening your Tasks page directly? Today is available there too.

Both experiences are designed around the same goal: helping you understand what needs attention and making it easier to move forward.

Introducing Personal Block Templates

One of the most useful parts of ReadyTools Workspace has always been its block-based system.

You can combine different types of content, build custom layouts, and organize pages around your own needs.

Until now, Workspace already offered predefined templates to help you get started.

But what if you wanted to save something you created yourself?

Now you can.

With the new Save as Template feature, you can turn your own blocks into reusable templates.

Create Once. Reuse Whenever You Want.

Imagine spending time configuring a block exactly how you like it.

Maybe it's a planning structure, a project checklist, a frequently used content layout, or a block with settings you've carefully customized.

Instead of recreating that setup every time, you can save it as a personal template.

Here's how it works:

1. Select a block you've already created.

2. Open Block Settings.

3. Choose Save as Template.

4. Give your template a name and description.

5. Save it for future use.

That's it.

Your reusable template is ready.

Insert Your Templates in Seconds

When you need that block again, open the template selection interface and choose your saved template.

Click Insert, and Workspace will create a block using your saved template.

This makes it easier to maintain consistency across your pages while reducing repetitive setup.

You no longer have to remember every setting or rebuild the same structure again and again.

Personal Templates are especially useful for people who work with recurring structures.
